When is the best time of the year to sealcoat my driveway?

This is a common question we hear.

In my opinion the two best seasons to sealcoat are Spring and Fall and the common reasons are, in the Spring the driveway has just gone through most likely a harsh winter and is need of attention before the heat of the summer does more damage. And the Fall because the winter is close by, and waiting could cost you an appointment slot because everyone is scrambling to get theirs done.

Now, by no means does this mean that you should not do your driveway in the Summer because you could and in some cases you should. Why? you may ask. The answer is simple, convenience. Many people go on vacation during the summer months and the convenience of getting their driveway done while their are gone for a few days makes sense.

So in the end their no fast and hard rules only best practices. I hope this might help.
